Sheila Oparaocha
Sheila Oparaocha brings twenty years of experience working in gender and energy to her role as the International Coordinator and Program Manager of the ENERGIA International Network on Gender and Sustainable Energy. ENERGIA is dedicated to integrating gender into the energy access agenda of developing countries and currently works with 31 partner organizations in 18 countries in Africa and Asia. Sheila is also the co-facilitator of the Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG7) Technical Advisory Group convened by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) to review progress on SDG 7. Sheila holds a bachelor’s in Veterinary Medicine and a master’s in Gender and Development Planning. Sheila will be co-curating the MOVE track.
